I am praying for complete healing for Sydni Taylor, and I am also praying for the family, and I almost feel what you all are going through, and I am giving my whole heart to this prayer, when we are close to the Lord He seams to hear us just bit louder, and when we have a relationship with the Lord He is a bit more sensitive to our voice because He is well used to our voice of one of His children. When we are suffering He our Lord the Loving and understanding God will hear us knowing He has extra feeling for us at that time. It would be like if a boy feel off his bicycle and the dad saw and knew him fall, so He would be a bit more susceptible to his son’s cry during that day. When you pray to the Lord and you are His friend, you can always be able to notice your particular friend when you answer the phone, or you can notice a friend of yours across the street calling for you, because you are used to that voice of a sharing compassion, and you are always joyful to here that voice. We know that God loves each and every one of us, and he doesn’t have any choices or special people, but he did have relationships with great men like Moses, Paul and David so my prayers are in no way special, but to me just to be able now to send a prayer is quite a blessing, I am a minister and I do love the Lord and all of His people, and I have suffered a long time in the unknown, in other words not knowing what is physically wrong with me, which caused so many other physical, financial, spiritual, and stressful ailments, which has also left me almost alone. Plus my prayers for people used to go out to many, and now the evil one is still trying to stop me. But we all know God is in control. “Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.” (Isa.65:24) “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.”(Matt.7:7-8) “If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.” (Matt.21:22) Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him. And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. (1John 3:21-23) So my prayers are with Sydni and the whole family, and so is my heart,

I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.

FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walkIng along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonging to him and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."
The LORD replied:
"My son, my precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

Bicycling with God:
At first I saw God as my observer, my judge, keeping track of the things I did wrong, so as to know whether I merited heaven or hell when I die. He was out there sort of like the president. I recognized his picture when I saw it, but I didn't really know him.
But later on when I recognized my higher power, it seemed as thought life was rather like a bike ride, but it was a tandem bike, and I noticed that God was in the back helping me pedal.
I don't know just when it was that he suggested we change places, but life has not been the same since, life with my higher power that is. God makes life exciting! When I had control, I knew the way. It was rather boring but predictable. It was the shortest distance between two points.
But when he took the lead, he knew delightful long cuts, up mountains, even through rocky places and at breakneck speed; it was all I could to hang on! Even though it looked like madness, he said, "Pedal."
I worried and was anxious and asked, "Where are you taking me?" He laughed and didn't answer and I started to learn to trust.
I forgot my boring life and entered into the adventure. And when I'd say, "I'm scared," he's lean back and touch my hand.
He took me to people with gifts that I needed, gifts of healing, acceptance and joy. They gave me their gifts to take on my journey, our journey, God's and mine.
And we were off again. He said, "Give the gifts away; they're extra baggage, too much weight." So I did, to the people we met, and I found that in giving I received and still our burden was light.
I did not trust him at first, in control of my life. I thought he'd wreck it. But he knows bike secrets, knows how to make it bend to take sharp corners, jump to clear high rocks, fly to shorten scary passages.
And I am learning to shut up and pedal in the strangest places, and I'm beginning to enjoy the view and the cool breeze on my face with my delightful constant companion, my higher power.
And when I'm sure I just can't do any more, he just smiles and says, "Pedal."
